History

SUN DYNASTY: King Rituparna of the Sun dynasty made the initial human discovery of Patal Bhuvaneshwar at that time, which was in the Treta Yuga. Ritupurna observed a cute deer that vanished into the trees as they were leading the troubled king through the Himalayan wilderness.

MAHABHARATA The underground cave, which has been mentioned frequently by generations of travellers, is thought to be related to Mt. Kailash, the home of Lord Shiva.
